Cecilia Magnusson is a senior advisor with over two decades of experience in Swedish national politics, public leadership, and governance.

Having served as a Member of the Swedish Parliament for 20 years, she brings deep insight into how policy is developed, negotiated, and implemented across political, institutional, and societal levels. Her experience spans multiple policy areas, including foreign affairs, justice, transport, and social security, as well as work within Sweden’s War Delegation.

Alongside her parliamentary career, Cecilia has held numerous senior leadership and board positions across both public and commercial organisations, including serving as Chair of Port of Gothenburg and other strategic infrastructure and civic institutions. She has extensive experience in governance, organisational leadership, and managing complex transitions.

Her work is characterized by a strong ability to navigate between political decision-making, organisational realities, and stakeholder interests translating broad policy frameworks into practical implementation. She has also represented Sweden in international contexts, including as an election observer for the OSCE, contributing to democratic development and institutional strengthening.
