The London Defence Conference 2026 takes place on April 10 and 11 in the heart of Whitehall London, and attendance is by invitation only. Now in its fourth edition, the conference has established itself as a key geopolitical gathering for friendly nations, bringing together political leaders, policymakers, military officials, industry executives, academics, and selected media to address the defining questions in defence and security. Alongside keynote sessions and main stage panels, the programme includes closed roundtables and side sessions designed for candid exchange, as well as the Chairman’s and Director’s Dinners, which have become integral to the forum’s character.
At its core is a close relationship with King’s College London and its School of Security Studies, supported by a strong network of sponsors, research institutions, think tanks, and an SME community of innovative and fast-growing firms. Established in 2022 following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the conference was created to elevate defence and security as central priorities in an increasingly dangerous global environment.
At Kose Advisory, we are attending because defence, industrial capacity, and supply chain resilience are now inseparable. The reordering of alliances, the expansion of defence production, and the weaponisation of trade all have direct implications for critical minerals, technology supply chains, energy security, and industrial strategy. Engaging in this setting allows us to deepen dialogue with policymakers and industry leaders, refine our geopolitical risk frameworks, and better support clients navigating the intersection of national security, economic policy, and global value chains.
